   Great Picture!
   Great TV. Paid for the extra install and it is well worth the few bucks extra. The guys were excellant and very respectful of our surroundings when putting the stand and tv together.Picture quaility is fantastic . It’s hard to believe how inexpensive these tv’s have become.

   Good TV with excellent picture
   We love this TV! It’s fairly lightweight for how large it is and the picture comes through crystal clear. The TV itself is easy to navigate and the sound is good on it as well. Good TV for the sale price we got it for.

   This tv is absolutely incredible. Pictures great, it’s very fast, has everything I need and more. Truly makes the quality of my life better. Easy to set up, like literally just plug it in, that’s how easy.

   Good TV for the $$$
   Overall this is good tv for the price. It has a good pic, decent sound and is fairly easy to set up. This is my first Fire TV and I don’t really care for it, I probably won’t get one again, I just don’t like the lay out. If you are expecting top qualies and performance that you get from LG or Samsung, this isn’t your TV. But, if you are looking for a nice tv that works well with base features, then this is your TV. I opted for the Amazon sound bar which did improve the quality of the sound.

   We really like this TV. It’s a good size for the room. It’s in. Has a very nice picture and sound quality. We are pleased with this purchase.

   Upgrade for bedroom TV
   I bought this because our son is older now and watches TV with us before bed and it easily ported over all my apps and logins (disney, netflix, etc) but is faster than other amazon tvs I have with better quality. Overall great TV for the price. I have a bunch of TCL TV’s and have had no issues with any of them.

   Gift to myself
   I had been wanting to buy a new TV for a long time. What prompted this purchase was me getting ready for back surgery. I knew I’d be spending a lot of time in my recliner, watching TV and high on pain pills. If I was going to be stuck in the house, I wanted a big TV. I upgraded from an old 50 inch that was probably 10 yrs old.This TV has a beautiful picture. I don’t use the speakers. I have a sound bar that is amazing, so I’m sorry for not being able to talk about that.It has taken me a bit to adjust to the Amazon fire setup. I hade a roku setup on my last TV. But, after a couple weeks, I’ve gotten used to it.In all, I love TCL. My 32″ TV in my office is a TCL and is great. I’m loving the 4K picture

   Mostly good, except the display menu refuses to work.
   This is a great TV. However, with low cost, comes the inevitable problem. And in this case the issue is with the “Display & Sounds” menu which displays an empty gray screen with a white bar, or, when the menu is selected, the screen goes dark. Restarting the TV fixes the issue, but clearly, the firmware has issues and TCL has known of these problems for a very long time and still the issue persists. I have also found in my research that this same problem is seen on other FireTV vendor sets. So it may be an Amazon thing. I don’t feel like going through the hassle of a blame game with either TCL or Amazon and the picture is “good enough” but clearly, I am one of MANY who have a non-working function on a television that should allow us to control our display and sound functions out of the box. The photo above shows the issue I see with the display & sound menu.Other than this, the set is good. I use a amplifier for the sound and thus cannot comment on the native speakers so many have dissed, but for my purposes, it is a good match for my needs. If I had it to do over again, I’d spend the extra $50 to get a higher quality unit, but even then, with these software-based TVs, it seems to be a crap shoot if you are going to get good firmware, no matter how much you spend.All in all, adequate quality. Not stupendous, but not bad for the price. If this set does not stand the test of time, I will go with another brand and definitely not with a FireTV. It is my hope that whoever is responsible for the firmware issues, steps up and issues a fix that truly repairs the problem with the display and sound menus. Two stars removed for whoever is not fixing the firmware issue. If I get help getting a patch pushed out to me to fix this, or another set that actually has a working menu, I’ll edit the review and update accordingly.
