Perfect tv for a living room
We wanted a tv that would blend in with our living room and the frame tv fits perfectly. We love the art that can be displayed when not watching tv; if you squint just a bit, it really seems like youâre looking at a framed print, not a tv. The set comes with its own mount and our adult son had no problems in setting it up. To complete the sense of a picture frame, he cut a hole in the drywall behind the tv and one behind the piece of furniture on which her placed the box that connects with the tv. So no cables are visible between the frame and the box ( all cables including the HDMI and sound bar cable go into the box instead of the tv)
Picture quality is good and the Samsung remote works well. At $400 off list price through Prime Days, weâre thrilled with this set.
Update: After about one month, our frame television has stopped working–it repeatedly shuts off or goes into a continuing on-screen loop. Samsung uses a third party to deal with repairs, but after I talked to a rep there and sent a requested photo of my unit, I received an email saying they had to escalate the issue back to Samsung and it might be up to 10 days before I hear from them. It’s 5 days now and no word from Samsung. Given we’re only had the unit for 4 weeks, I’ll expect Samsung to exchange it for a new unit or offer a full refund. I’ll update this post when the issue is resolved.

Great TV with strange smart features
Such an easy set up and install. Beautiful so far, havenât put it in the wall yet just using the legs it came with. In 30 min my toddler and I had it up and running. It is extremely thin and fragile Iâll note. But itâs art!! As should be expected.
Not thrilled about all the strange features such as auto adjusting brightness and volume based on assessing the environment⦠I donât need my tv to think itself or assess my living room. Wish all the smart stuff would go but itâs here to stay, I know I know. Still, I dont like it.

Its a nice frame built into a mediocre television with a horrible user interface
I want to love this TV but can’t. Its slow, glitchy, and even with the smart function, I have to use a Roku because it freezes or is so painfully slow. The functionality for the photo is great and why I bought it. I had to spend 2hrs on the phone with Samsung. TL;DR. I use a Samsung sound bar and had to disable all the advanced sound functionality because there was an issue where the audio would continue to before more and more delayed (poor tv software). That may be disapointing for anyone who cares about movie quality sound with a soundbar. I had an issue where the advanced sleep settings would not work, same solution getting to most barebones functionality so that the frame wakes up with motion. If this was not a frame, this TV would have 1 star, its really that bad from a software and speed perspective. Seems like Samsung let the interns design this one with horrible software and slow, outdated hardware. If you want the frame function it may be good for you, be prepared to get a Roku to avoid the horrendous interface as much as possible.
Update; 6 months later still nothing but problems. Had to disable more functionality and now it turns on by itself. Have troubleshot it 6 times with support. The support agents are unqualified and every time have told me to make changes that do not even exist on the model I have. I now have a fairly terrible tv, that doesnât function as a frame and randomly turns itself on. Donât buy this.

Great TV
This TV is amazing! We have loved adding a little art to our walls and having a TV all at the same time!! The picture and sound quality are great. The layout is beautiful and it is very user friendly. It comes with a slim remote that is powered by solar, we love that as well. The only down fall is sometimes it will randomly turn on when we are not using it, sometime we will wake up to it on. I would buy this again and recommend it to all my friends!

Wonderrful Picture!
This has been a great purchase…love the mounted look on our wall, and has a great clear picture and is relatively easy to operate (I am not a tech person at all). Highly recommended!

Nice but very complicated
We didn’t mount on the wall. We just put it on the stand that it comes with. Still very attractive without being wall mounted. It took some time getting accustomed to the remote, and it is the most complicated tv I have ever worked with. I can get to our cable, and Apple TV, and maybe that tells you something about me. I don’t take advantage of the latest ways of watching tv — like YouTube TV, casting, or any of that stuff — I am still getting used to not having to change the channels manually or adjust the antenna. The art work is very cool, and with the mat screen and no glare, it is very attractive — even without wall mounting or having a picture frame. All in all, it was worth the money, but be prepared to have to look some things up for help.

Beautiful picture!
I love this TV. It was affordable and has excellent picture and sound. The only drawback is the art store isn’t free, so we don’t really use it that much because why pay $60 a year for a digital screensaver? There are some free pieces you can use on it, so we just do that, but really that function isn’t worth it alone. That said, the actual core capabilities are great.

Itâs ok
I wasnât expecting the best picture quality, which in hindsight seems silly with this thing being a 1k+ tv. With that said, after a year with it, itâs safe to say the picture quality is nowhere near my Sony OLED – so don’t expect this thing to wow you. Fine, no big deal, didnât expect it to. The mounting bracket and finished look are great and was easy to install. The tv looks slim and nearly flush to the wall. Picture mode is great, but when the free trial runs out, the subscription is way over priced. The software on this tv is absolutely atrocious. Often times it is completely unusable, wonât load, disconnects from wifi frequently and so on. I donât know how Samsung hasnât fixed the software yet, I canât imagine anyone who uses this tv often is happy with it. You will have to hard restart this tv often to get things working again, which is just a major pain and is time consuming constantly trying to diagnose why Netflix (or whatever) wonât load. This is basically your only option for an aesthetically pleasing tv, but donât expect the insides to match the appearance
